Design for all

Start of main content

By "accessibility of web portals" we mean the set of technologies, application and design standards that facilitate the use of the websites following the guidelines of the "design for all".

The "Design for All" is a design philosophy that aims to ensure that environments, products, services and systems to be used by the largest possible number of people. It is a model based design for human diversity, social inclusion and equality.

The basis for developing an accessible website is to understand that people access the Internet in different ways and with different disabilities:

Totally blind users

Use a screen reader program to access the content browser, listening through the speakers or reading with your fingers using a Braille display.

Users with visual impairment

Some people have partial sight or color blindness (blindness) systems and employ screen magnification, resort to increasing the size of the letters or require an effective color contrast between text and background.

Users with mobility limitations in their hands

They can not use the mouse and access the web content exclusively via the keyboard of your computer or make it through voice recognition systems, browsing through verbal instructions that give your device.

Users with complete deafness

Require textual multimedia sound alternatives.

In addition to these types of disability, there are also users with slow Internet access or by outdated or small size screens and resolutions, which also benefit from accessible design devices connections.
